Sydney Imani is an American-born singer-songwriter currently residing in Amsterdam. Her music is an interpretation of contemporary millennial sensibilities filtered through her hyper-rational mind.

Inspired by artists like D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, and Frank Ocean, Sydney's music attempts to venture into the intricacies of the human experience, ranging from love and lust, to mortality and death.

Artistically, Sydney’s creative process merges a variety of art forms to express abstract, subjective human experiences in creative, relatable ways. She blends neo-soul, R&B, pop and jazz to create music that combines what is familiar with what is new.

Sydney Imani's musical journey so far has been an exploration of the human condition, seeking out the raw essence of our experiences, both mundane and extraordinary. Her core objective is an invitation to embrace vulnerability, accept suffering, and confront the maze of emotions that define our humanity.
